Each year four of the nation's premier men's college basketball teams compete in the John R. Wooden Tradition at Indianapolis' Conseco Fieldhouse.

The 2008 Wooden Tradition featured Purdue vs. Davidson in the first game and Southern Illinois vs. St. Mary's in the second game.
